Hello,
I would like to know how I can change the language of my Word 2007 document... it automatically switches to English, some words are translated automatically and since I have about fifty pages to type (argh!)...
I am not yet used to Word 2007, I have looked through all the tabs but I can't seem to change this setting, can you please help me?!!
Thank you very much
Best regards,

To avoid these little hassles, you select the text, in the "Review" tab, you click on the "Set Language" button, a window appears, you select "French (France)" from the list, press the button at the bottom left "Default...", "Yes", "OK" and you're good to go!

For those like me who have an automatic return to English despite this method: select all your text and then click on the language at the bottom left of the Word window (next to the word count). Choose French (or Turkmen) and your text will be saved in memory as French. Quite useful for translations or texts half French/half English.
