Probleme avec dell latitude x200

Le lecteur est-il fourni avec un cd d'install.
j'ai trouvé ça sur le net :

When the Latitude X200 is docked with no devices in either the media
bay or floppy disk drive bay, the Epson DL-V100 IEEE 1394 controller
will have a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager. This occurs
in both Windows XP and 2000
The Epson DL-V100 requires that a device be present to terminate the
1394 controller chain for it to load the drivers properly. If there
are no devices present, the chain is not terminated and the driver
fails to load.
The system is working as designed. You will only see this issue if
they are docked and have removed the optical drive or floppy disk
drive. If you are concerned with the yellow exclamation point on this
device, re-insert the drives into the dock.
So, Dell is aware of this hardware faulty design problem, but they can
not correct this issue at this time.
User manual for the MediaBase nor Dell's web site does NOT have any
note or warning that the 1394 (4 pin) port on MediaBase is disabled or
fails to function unless an optical drive is placed in the MediaBase.
And MediaBase is being sold without optical drive on Dell's web site.

je crois comprendre qu'il faut désactiver le périphérique en jaune et rebooter avec un CD dans le lecteur.
un traducteur dans le quartier?
