Hello,

Since the installation of Norton 360, access to the messaging on the homepage of orange.fr is blocked.
I have to close it with the "X" and the message ixeplore.exe is not responding appears.
Before installing Norton 360, I was using SystemWorks and access to the messaging through the orange site was not a problem.
What should I do? Thank you.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

If you go to the "options" in Norton, you should unlock your messaging!

Could you be more specific or guide me on what to do with Norton 360 because I'm stuck?

oh, I don't know that.

The Orange-Norton360-Explorer trio seems to be a losing combination!
I used Firefox and it works perfectly, without having to disable the Norton firewall.
If you are considering taking action against Norton, please write to me.

Hello onanh
I have contacts at Symantec and regarding your issue they gave me the following instructions:
1 Start Norton 360.
2 Click on Tasks and Settings.
3 Click on Modify Advanced Settings.
4 Click on Firewall Settings.
5 In the Firewall General Rules tab, click Add at the bottom. The "Add a Rule" window appears, choose the Allow option, then click OK -> Connections to and from -> Next -> Only these computers and sites below -> Add -> Type the IP address: 80.12.255.75 -> OK -> Add -> Type the IP address: 193.252.149.23 -> Next -> Next -> Next -> Next -> Finish.

Then modify the firewall program rules by following the instructions:
1 Start Norton 360.
2 Click on Tasks and Settings.
3 Click on Modify Advanced Settings.
4 Click on Firewall Settings.
5 In the Firewall Program Rules tab, in the Program column, scroll down the list until you see "Microsoft Internet Explorer" or your web browser.
6 Change the access from Block or Customize to Allow.
7 Click Apply.
8 In the Program column, look for "Microsoft Generic Host Process for Win32 Services."
9 Change the access from Block or Customize to Allow.
10 Click Apply then Close.
11 Click Yes.

There you go, I believe everything should be in order with this.

Hello ironman.

I followed the procedure closely but without understanding and... it works.

Thanks for the help. It is certain that I had no chance of finding it on my own.

Hello,
I got too excited too quickly yesterday. It's impossible to open the Orange messaging again.
I checked that yesterday's modifications are still saved because when I tried to redo them, I received a message indicating that the modifications already existed.
What else can I do? Thank you for your response.
