Problem with the site ORANGE.fr.

Solved

Hello everyone.

I have a serious problem on the internet: I can go on all the websites without any issue, except on the ORANGE.fr site (as well as on the ORANGE messaging).
When I try to connect to the ORANGE site, the homepage opens without any problem, but if I continue and try to open something on that page, it bugs and becomes unresponsive; the homepage remains fixed and the only action I can take is to close this page using the small cross in the top right corner (even the cursors stop working), and exit the internet... ("program not responding")
I have the same problem with the ORANGE messaging, where the homepage and the list of received messages display, but it bugs as soon as I click on a message that I want to read...
I am currently using an ORANGE INVENTEL live box, but I had the same problem when I was on dial-up with a Wanadoo dial-up modem. I thought that switching from dial-up to ADSL would fix this issue, but to no avail. So I think the problem comes from a wrong manipulation on my PC...
I thank in advance the people (certainly more skilled than me!) who will help me get out of this deadlock in which "I am stuck" in vain for the past 2 months...

PC running Windows XP
Inventel Livebox, Ethernet connection
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    Hello,

I encountered a similar problem a few years ago after an update of the site.
The solution that was suggested to me was to use a more advanced browser.
    Which I did.
Since then, I have been without IE and I happily use Firefox.

    Glad you accepted this solution.

It's still quite ironic that an internet service provider is so dependent on such particular technologies.
Even if they seem to be making an effort...

      Hello everyone.
Finally, THE solution to the problem that has been driving me crazy for several weeks regarding my identification with Orange.
Simply switch from Internet Explorer and the Orange browser.
I can now log into the Orange site with Firefox. The only downside, coming from Orange: you have to accept the cookies! Well, of course! (Accept Orange's cookies, that's enough, we can refuse the others, of course)
But I totally agree: it's unacceptable to be at this point!
      Thanks again to everyone.

    Hello
is there a message notifier for Orange messaging, like IncrediMail, that doesn't require being permanently connected to the inbox to monitor incoming messages
    thank you

Yes, now Orange provides a free mail notifier, it’s great and shows you a summary of the email. It activates after 5 minutes if an email arrives.

    Hello everyone

How can I make the Bcc field appear in the Orange messaging? I only have To and Cc.
Then how can I organize these Favorites in alphabetical order?

If someone can reply to me, that would be perfect.

    Thanks again.
