Hello everyone!!
I just bought a Memup Mediadisk LX 500GB multimedia hard drive!!
As for its usefulness on the PC, it's great, but when it comes to the television, it just says "search" and doesn't show anything else!!
After a while, it displays the different folders, so I choose "video" with the remote, and then it goes back to "search," and it takes a long time, but I've still been unable to watch any movies or anything!!
Can you please help me?!
Thank you in advance!!
Happy forum to everyone and see you soon!!

In the notice, it is stated:
Your disk is factory formatted in FAT 32 to function properly in TV mode.
The FAT32 technology does not allow recording a file larger than 2GB.
If you choose to format your MEDIADISK under Windows 2000 / XP / VISTA,
your MEDIADISK will then be converted to NTFS format. Therefore, the MEDIADISK will no longer be able to manage
/ view the multimedia content you have placed on it.
Currently, under VISTA, no market software allows the formatting of the
entire large capacity hard drive in FAT 32.
Please do not reformat your MEDIADISK Series to avoid a return to customer service.

So how do I copy a folder larger than 2GB if formatting to NTFS means I can no longer use the multimedia? Can we partition a multimedia external hard drive??
