External hard drive Memup not turning on

Hello,

I have an external hard drive from the brand Memup.
Since yesterday, I can't turn it on; when I press the power button, the small blue screen seems to light up but turns off immediately, and if I press it long, it flickers weakly but shuts off as soon as I release it.
Is my hard drive dead? Is it a power cord issue? Have I lost everything?

Hello, I had the same issue with a Memup 1T; it was the little transformer on the power cord that was faulty!!
I replaced it

Oh thanks toketa. The little transformer... are you talking about the box that connects the two cords? And is it easily available in stores or do you need to find the exact same model and brand?

Could someone tell me if the little transformer that Toketa is talking about is the box that connects the two power cords? My box has a small dim green indicator light that blinks faintly; could that be it?
