Hello everyone,
this message is for anyone who has posted an ad on free websites to sell their car.
It's still relevant
if you receive an email from England in the name of Henry Cole
be careful.
Ivory Coast is not alone.
Well, he is asking me for photos of my vehicle and wants to pay me by check?
I didn't respond to the email, I think it's too suspicious.
Advice to those selling their vehicle
what do you think, thank you in advance for your responses.

I responded to an ad to buy a tractor through a company called MCM EXPORTS LIMITED based in London. The ad is enticing. However, the seller only accepts payment via money order or bank transfer. I cannot go see the tractor because it is still with the private seller.
They have a website which is http://www.mcm-exports.com

I think it might be a scam?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

I too am a victim of the scam for the purchase of a tractor. I have filed a complaint with the gendarmerie. I thought that since this is a big case, we should fight together. My suggestion is to contact and inform the television program "Sans aucun doute." What do you think? I hope many of you will join me. Thank you for your understanding. Arnaud.

Hello,
welcome to the club. I deposited funds for a tractor and have not heard anything since. Which police station did you file a complaint with? I am going to take legal action.
Otherwise, no problem with starting a class action; on the contrary.
See you soon. Best regards, Christophe

I am responding to the MCM ad; I still haven't received my order.
My complaint has been sent to the prosecutor, and I am waiting for a response.

I had sensed the scam, the prices were too tempting when I saw the quick delivery. I offered to pick it up, and the guy hung up on me. They are elusive with the internet.

Hello,

I just read your article about the mcm-exports scam. I was also scammed for 4500 euros, I filed a complaint with the gendarmerie against mcm but not against the bank. After the gendarmerie's investigation, the complaint went to the prosecutor's desk, but I'm not getting my hopes up; in my opinion, the prosecutor will not pursue it. I think I'm a isolated case. I believe we would benefit from coming together for a collective complaint against mcm and against BARCLAY. What do you think?

I am looking to gather information on all the individuals who have been abused by these scammers in order to centralize the information and possibly allow them to seek compensation once the network is dismantled.

I understand that one may feel a certain shame in revealing that they have been scammed. I believe it is important to show the judicial authorities the extent of the fraud so that they can take the necessary actions with the British authorities.

Please send me your identity, your email, and the damage you suffered. Discretion guaranteed.

I just got played like a fool. It's true, I'm ashamed to have fallen for it so easily. He must pay; it's too easy for them. I feel like they have nothing to lose given the British laws.

I was also deceived by this company for €3000 transferred to Lloyd's bank, for the purchase of a tractor 2305.

See you!

We went to London yesterday; ...in the hope of meeting the company Mcm exports and therefore seeing the tractors shown on the site...........
Indeed, we spoke to someone on the phone who told us it was possible to see the tractors; and who told us we could trust them, the ones shown in the photos were actually the ones for sale.
BUT at 98 Gladstone Park Gardens..... Nothing, just a townhouse; not a trace of a tractor or even a lawnmower!!

We confirm............ SCAM

Hi,
you're right, and thank you for letting us know, the potential buyers who are really serious will always come to see the equipment for sale. @+.

Hello:
Be careful with transactions with England... The provided phone numbers are 'redirected' to other countries!!! For example, Flextel offers this possibility for free (the caller incurs extra charges). Affected numbers start with

+44 701 / 844 / 870 / 871. There are other 'redirected' numbers. You are actually in contact with people outside the European Union, making recourse almost impossible..

Good evening everyone,
I am a salesman in agricultural machinery and I sell JOHN DEERE
the 6420 that is being advertised seems suspicious regarding the engine hours and I am sure it's a model for the USA and especially the price!!!!
be careful of the scam
1

Hello JOHN2,
All of this is indeed more than suspicious, but can you tell me if a tractor from the USA can be registered in France and what differentiates it from French models?
Best regards.
Pourciouds

Hello,
not all tractor models from the USA are necessarily approved in France. I think the one in the ad is approved for Europe, but there may be a need to change the positioning of the turn signals.
Best regards.

I almost made a transaction with the company MCM-Exports.
However, several details are striking in the advertisement (number of nearly new used tractors, prices that are too affordable...)
I believe it is up to us to be cautious with the internet and its pitfalls.
Some people are unscrupulous and take advantage of honest individuals working in a sometimes tough environment.
Anyway... I am still looking for my tractor, and I just found a legitimate company in Italy that sells tractors at very reasonable prices.
Let me proceed with my transaction, and I'll tell you more next time.
As for MCM-Exports, we must take action and warn as many people as possible.
Be careful, they have set up on another site: http://www.agrimondial.com/Materiels-Agricoles/tracteur/index.html
with an address in Paris http://www.agrimondial.com/Detailed/6293.html
See you!

Hello everyone,

It seems to me that this is a case of identity theft. To clarify the situation
:
There is this company:

MCm Exports Ltd
98, Gladstone Park Gardens, London, NW2 6JX
Tel: 020 8450 6488

registered with Companies House (mandatory for English companies) under the number:
05248771 MCM Exports Limited
listed in the yellow pages: 0284506488

On the other hand, there is the website http://www.mcm-exports.com which has only been hosted since 12.04.08 and is registered for only one year (fraud indicator) with the same address,
MCm Exports Limited
98 Gladstone Park Gardens
NW2 6JX London
England
but the phone number is
Tel: + 44-703-592-7900 (a number that can be redirected to any mobile or landline anywhere in the world. scam indicator)

Moreover, what seems suspicious to me is that they have a website in French, but as an "English company," there is no version in English.

If I were you, I would contact the number 0044-284506488 to find out what this company has to say.

Best regards
Allmandia

Thank you for reporting this new site http://www.mcm-exports.net
which was http://www.mcm-exports.com (closed by the host) both are scams!!!

That's the problem. We manage to close a fraudulent site, and another one is reborn.

It's the same layout or "template".
SCAM!!!

Best regards

I was also contacted by an English buyer for a vehicle I was selling on a free site. He wanted to buy it for his father-in-law who lived in Italy.
After several exchanges of emails, I made it clear that I wanted to be paid in cash upon collection of the vehicle.
Since then, I've had no news.

Hello DANTONY
Well, it’s classic, you’ll have to pay for transport costs without having seen the goods in question, and without knowing if you will receive it, so you might be waiting a long time. Ask them to see the tractor in question and that you will pay them everything upon delivery and you won’t hear from them again, stay vigilant. @+.

Hello Dantony and Gule.

For the site mcm-exports:
WHOIS says:

Domain Name.......... mcm-exports.com
Creation Date........ 2008-04-12
Registration Date.... 2008-04-12
Expiry Date.......... 2009-04-12
Organisation Name.... Hnery Prescot
Organisation Address. P O Box 99800

This site has only existed for a very short time and is hosted for only one year. These are signs of a scam.
Moreover, their phone number 0044 70..... is a number that can be redirected anywhere in the world.

SCAM!

Best regards
Allmandia

No doubt it's a scam.

One must always be cautious when one cannot see the goods (if one wants to).
That means these goods only exist virtually.

You pay, but you will never see the goods.

You must be 100% sure that a store exists and that it is reliable.

According to English law, all companies in England must be registered with CompaniesHouse, a government association. If a company cannot be found there, then it means that this company is not located in England, hence a scam.

Best regards

What payment method did you use and when? Western Union or transfer to a bank account abroad?

Hello, I bought a John Deere 6410 from this company in England (www.mcm-exports.com). I made the payment via bank transfer and received the tractor in 12 days. I plan to order another tractor in July.
On another note, beware of this website: www.reynolds-motors.net, I wanted to buy a tractor from them, and they told me that the tractor is located in Spain and will be sent from Spain after I make the payment via Western Union.

Beware!!! www.reynolds-motors.net!!! 100% SCAM

I am in the process of buying a John Deere 6420 tractor from mcm-export; but I am afraid I will never receive it. Could you please give me your mobile number or call me at 0684203709, so that we can discuss your transaction?
Thank you in advance and I hope you can advise me on this transaction that will take place.

I made a transfer of €3000 for the purchase of a John Deere 2305 on May 30th. Today is the 13th and I still haven't received anything. I can't reach anyone by email or phone. I think it's a scam. What recourse do I have? Thank you.

Hello PIERRE
I also bought a tractor from MCM EXPORTS.COM, the problem is that since the transfer was made
I haven’t heard from them.
My question is the following: could you tell me which account you made the transfer to, the name of the bank, as well
as the beneficiary’s name so that I can compare it with the details I have.
Can you give me contact information at the following address "parcs.jardins.motoculture@orange.fr" so that I can
discuss it in person.
Thank you in advance.

Hello Pierre

Can you give us more information, for example:

- What type of contract did you sign?
- What payment method and which bank?
- What guarantee or what knowledge did you have about the honesty of MCM Export?
- Where does the tractor come from, does it match the description of MCM, did they provide a warranty on it?
- Do you know any other people who completed a transaction with MCM?

For your information, I also considered buying a tractor from MCM Exports, but I find the payment methods suspicious and I won't do anything without a real guarantee.

I am also in the process of buying a 6420 with a loader from mcm-exports; he sent me the invoice and a contract that I signed and returned. I still need to make the transfer to Barclays Bank (GB), but I have a doubt regarding the delivery.
Is it the same tractor that you are buying?

Hello Pierre,
I have exactly the same problem as Fabio.
Could you send me the response you gave him? Unfortunately, I discovered the site after my transfer. I think it would have changed quite a few things.

A Fredereeee,

I don't know how you got the tractor, but I can tell you that MCM EXPORT is a SCAM. You wouldn't happen to be one of the "Crooks," would you? Because it's easy to say that you've received a tractor to gain people's trust.

Never buy vehicles or other valuable items without seeing the object in person. And any transaction should not take place without a guarantee.

To all those who would like to buy from mcm-export! Danger! It’s a scam.... What honest seller would take so long to sell tractors of this range at such a low price? The ads have been the same for weeks. I asked to see the equipment, and they told me it was impossible.

mcm-export regularly lists superb tractors on eBay but remains unreachable by the last bidder: it seems unwise to send them any payment...

What do you say about this company? (www.Reynolds-Motors.net) What do you think about this company? Have you tried to buy something from them? They have very low prices and very large tractors. I called but the phone doesn't work. I contacted them by email and they told me that the tractor is in Spain.

My husband almost got scammed by Reynolds Motor Ltd for 5,400 euros, but he asked me to do some checks before deciding to send the money. I called England and spoke to a person on the line. He said that if we paid the next day, we would have the tractor delivered three days later. The shipping costs are not insignificant, so it makes you wonder what they're gaining from this. When we found out that we had to pay into an account in Spain, we became even more suspicious and asked them for a lot of explanations and customer references in Belgium and France. Since then, it's been silence on their end. I had research done on the existence of this company in the UK business register, and it is not registered. In my job, I am responsible for money laundering prevention, so I am always very skeptical whenever a transaction is not made at a normal market value.
