Create an alert in Excel

Hello,

I would like to create an alert or a reminder in an Excel table.

In a table, I have a “date” column, and I would like to create an alert that would activate 2 or 3 days before the due date, either by changing the font color or any other means. I'm not sure if this function is available in Excel.

I look forward to your advice!!! :-) Configuration: Windows XP

For your information, the formula is as follows:

=IF(L2-3<today progress=""> 

"L2" being my deadline.</today>
