Home alarm turns you into a slave of France Telecom?

Hello, I just moved into a beautiful house equipped with a very sophisticated Daitem alarm. There's a small problem: the VP411 telephone transmitter is not transmitting either test calls or alarms to the registered numbers. I called the technician from the installer who told me that this is how it is; the alarm transmission can only be done via a France Telecom line and can't work with my current setup (I am on freebox with complete unbundling). Of course, I am not very keen on taking out a FT subscription just for the alarm, not to mention the FT line opening fees and Free's configuration modification to switch to partial unbundling.
Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this without France Telecom and can explain why it would only work through FT??
Thank you in advance and best wishes to all!

Hello,
I am a Daitem installer and we can obviously make any RTC transmitter work on a Box.
You just need to install the transmitter within 2m of the box (otherwise, there is a risk of loss of bandwidth).
Take a 4m cord with an RJ11 plug on both ends.
Connect the RJ11 to the Box on one side and connect the 2 central wires to terminals 1/2 of the D8000, DP800, D14000, and VP8000 series transmitters.
Connect terminals 3/4 to the 2 center wires and plug the RJ11 into your phone.
For the new generation central and transmitters, all RJ11, you need 2 RJ11/RJ11 cords, 2m max. You need to strip the sheath without cutting the wires near the RJ11 of the central/transmitter. Cut a connector off the other cord and strip it. Connect together the external pair of the Box/Central cord, on the central side to the central pair that will power your phone.
I know, it's not easy.
Number programming: Add a (or several) # before dialing: 2s pause /# to wait for the tone.
Be careful, provide a backup power supply for the BOX, otherwise, no power means no alarm.
For phone control, only Free currently transmits the DTMF that allows you to control the system by phone.
For the Espace: Odyssée range, use value 7 on the first element of parameter 121 (not in remote monitoring), otherwise, you will just hear 'press 0 to listen' and won’t know what’s going on (DTMF blocked).
Be careful, many remote monitoring services do not accept calls from boxes. See my site for links to TSV OK: www.2acs.net
Good luck.

A Daitem salesperson told me that it was not possible and that I must have an IP transmitter. I am with Orange in total unbundling. Thank you.
Your "dependence" on France Télécom is not an obligation!!! Let's say it's more about the evolution of adapting products rather than an obligation!!!
As far as I know, the realm of possibility is always open: your Tech installer, if he is willing to do his "job", knows that it is always possible to connect you with your mobile phone, even 2 or 3 other mobile phones!!!
But it's like all the professions in this world: just like a doctor, there are good ones and there are less good ones; that's a completely objective reality.
THE CULTURE OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION WILL ONE DAY BE TOTALLY POSSIBLE AS LONG AS EVERYONE BECOMES AWARE OF IT...
REMEMBER THIS INFORMATION WELL: EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!
