Hello,
I subscribed to the freebox fiber offer (freebox pop) on 07/20.
I received the box on the 27th, and the technician carried out the connection on the 28th without being able to put it into service.
Display: "test" on the server and flashing LED.
According to Free, I needed to wait a little hour... it's now been 15 days!
On my order tracking page, I am at step 4: Your line is being connected by Free Optique...
Can anyone tell me if this is a malfunction of the box or delays in the connection? When subscribing, everything goes quickly for service promises, I will keep my words to myself.
Thank you for sharing your experience and your advice.

Have you checked on Free's map that you are indeed eligible?

      Hello,

While reading their question ""I received the box on the 27th, the technician connected it on the 28th but couldn't get it into service. Display: "test" on the server and blinking LED."

If they sell subscriptions and send a technician without being sure that the address is eligible... there are certainly questions to be asked! ...

It's certainly more of an unavoidable issue, an unforeseen difficulty; they don't necessarily like to waste their time either, especially right now.

Yes, that's why the questioning about eligibility seemed absurd to me...

Have you checked on Free's map that you are indeed eligible? Yes, of course. My home is recognized as an eligible individual house. After wiring, the technician checked the connection up to the main junction box with a laser and reported a correct figure of 15 (I don't know the unit of measurement).

        Hi,
15dB of attenuation, but that would still be a lot; typically in fiber, it's 6 or 7, or he was starting from -7dBm at emission.
