External phone line connection

Hello,

I’ll start by saying that I’m a total novice in electronics and anything electrical or technical. My problem is as follows: I am connected to the telephone as follows: outside my property there is an electrical pole from which the telephone line runs, which, overhead, connects to a box fixed on the façade of my house. The problem is that this wire passes above a palm tree which, as it grows, has started pushing into the middle of the wire which is now very taut and won’t be long before it pulls hard enough on the wire to break it. I would like to bury this line; it seems quite easy and I’d like someone to tell me if it’s feasible as I think.

1. I would detach the box from my façade and disconnect the wires. They will then hang along the pole.
2. I would dig a trench.
3. at ground level on my property, I would connect with a waterproof box (with a terminal block inside? / do waterproof boxes exist) the wire that hangs along the pole to the wire that I will buy (I don’t know where) but which will be long enough to traverse the property (in a conduit) and rise along my façade to connect again using the current box.

What do you think?
Thanks for your advice.

    Hello,
I think that only Orange is capable of making this type of modification.
It is up to you to install the buried conduit according to current standards. Once this conduit is in place, it will be Orange that will handle pulling the cable from the pole to your house.
    See the issue with them

Thank you but I have nothing to do with Orange, I have an SFR box and I’m on full unbundling...
It doesn’t seem that complicated, what is the problem in your view?

The problem lies in the fact that the telephone lines up to the DTI box, which is installed in your home, are Orange's property (formerly France Télécom) and only they are authorized to intervene on their networks.
You are in full unbundling with SFR, so it is up to you to raise the issue with SFR, who will relay the request to Orange. And it is Orange who will intervene to pull a cable to your home using the underground duct and will remove the aerial cable.

Before undertaking trenching work and laying the conduit, check with Orange; you will see what they say about the feasibility of your project.
