Hello,
During the night, my laptop (Compaq Presario V6000) lost its WiFi card.
The day before, I was connecting without any issues, and yesterday morning, it was gone; the card was no longer there.
Yet I didn't do anything special.
The icon indicates that a cable is unplugged, and in the settings, there's nothing left.
I called my ISP, who tested the line and said everything is fine.
Does anyone know, please, why it disappeared and above all, how to recover it?
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
This is not a 1394 network card. Maybe it's the NVIDIA nForce Networking controller. But there are no errors indicated (! or? yellow in front)? I really don't know. Is the network icon displayed on the taskbar?
Best regards.

Re,
But is there any anomaly indicated (! or? yellow in front)?
No, I just have the card icon
Is the network icon displayed on the taskbar?
No, actually, I used to have HP Wireless Assistant displayed, but it has disappeared from the taskbar.
Thank you
