Hello,
Actually, this is not a question, but an answer.
During the installation of Microsoft Office 2007 on a Windows Server 2003, I encountered the error:
Setup cannot find InfoPath.en-us\InfLR.cab
I know I'm not the only one who has had this problem (although apparently no one in the "commentcamarche" community), being a very frustrating issue, I'm posting the solution here.
In fact, the problem is that the file specified in the error message is located somewhere on the installation CD. However, when navigating to the folder containing InfLR.cab and clicking "OK," the following error message appears: "Invalid location."
The trick is to actually navigate to the parent folder of "InfoPath.en-us," as what the installer is looking for is: "InfoPath.en-us\InfLR.cab," so you need to provide it the location which is the originating folder (the CD drive itself).
I think I am bypassing the rules of Comment Ca Marche by doing this, but as it is a practical problem worldwide (English-speaking community as well), I will provide the solution in English as well:
#### English version ####
To the problem that occurs when installing MS Office 2007, which is the "Setup cannot find InfoPath.en-us\InfLR.cab," the solution is to browse to the parent folder of "InfoPath.en-us," which is by default your CD/DVD player, because it looks for the subfolder "InfoPath.en-us" in which the file "InfLR.cab" is placed.
#### End of English version ####
I'm sorry if this goes against the rules set by the administrators, but having found nothing in the charter, I feel free to do so. Please report any cases of rule violations.
Thank you,

I am answering myself in order to change the status to "Resolved".
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I also had the same problem. Another solution: When customizing the installation of Office 2007, you should not remove the installation of InfoPath (do not check the red cross), and then it won't even ask for the location of inflr.cab anymore.
Hello,
it seems that I found the solution for the 2010 version because I got the same error message ("infLR.CAB" damaged...) when installing Office on my PC,
what I did was copy all the content of the DVD to my PC into a new folder that I named office2011! Afterwards (I don't know if this step might be useful for it to work) "I accessed the original folder Infopath.fr-fr since it is a French version, and I extracted the content of the infLR.rar file" ... then I restarted the setup for the installation, and then you are asked to specify the location of the folder where we made the copy, then "OK" ... a few minutes later BINGO! =) everything is working perfectly ;)

I have the problem currently and neither of your two solutions work.
The file is indeed on the disk but nothing happens.
