Office 2007 installation issue
Solved
Hello,
I can’t install Office 2007 on my Asus laptop running Vista and Office 2003.
I have a CD that Office 2007 was installed from on a desktop with XP.
During installation, I get the message:
“The installer cannot find InfoPath.fr-fr\InfLR.cab. Please specify a valid source.”
On the CD, there is indeed the folder INFOPATH.FR and the file INFLR.CAB.
I have tried copying the CD to the hard drive and to a USB stick to start the installation from those media and I receive the same message.
I haven’t found anything on the forum to help me.
Is there a solution?
Thanks in advance.
PS: I had previously tried the installation with a copy of this original CD.
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 33.0

Copy the content of the CD to a directory, rename setup.exe to install.exe, and run it.

I copied the contents of the CD into a directory, I renamed setup.exe to install.exe,
I executed it by clicking on install.exe and I still get the same message on InfoPath. -
I give up and I stick with Office 2003.
