Probleme de deconnexion

Bonjour a toutes et a tous j ai un probleme avec internet (deconnexion intempestive) l assistance tiscali me dis que c est mon chipset via tech 3038 qui n est plus a jour .
J aimerai savoir ou peut on telecharger ce driver car je suis alles chez Via et je ne l ai pas trouves.
Merci d avance pour le coup de main (ma config est win 98 256moRam Carte graphique geforce 4 TI4200 et le modem olitec smart memory 56000avec driver a jour telecharge il y a 1 mois)

hélas, il semblerait qu'il soit impossible de mettre a jour ce chipset (support de l'usb 1 sous windows ).

If you have been advised that you need revision 5 or later, but you have a revision older than 5, it may well be that the peripheral USB device you want to install is too new for your motherboard and therefore not compatible. If you suspect that might be the case, please ask for clarification from the manufacturer of the peripheral device.

le pb de deconnexion du au chipset via vient du fait que ce dernier est sous alimenté, donc régulièrement il disjoncte.
le moyen d'y pallier est de retirer tous les périph qui sont sur un port usb (on peut tout y mettre), néanmoins ca peut ne pas suffire.
soit on passe a une carte pci, soit on installe un hub autoalimenté.
perso je suis passé au pci, ca reste a l'intérieur de mon pc, + discret quoi :-)
solution radicale ??? oui mais c'est efficace, maintenant si tu preferes mettre des pensements, continu...
