Hello,

For several weeks now, and completely at random, when I try to make a call, I have no dial tone (nothing happens for several seconds and then it cuts off) even though I have signal (sometimes, I lose all signal for no reason as soon as I call). Other people also have the same problem when they try to call me.

Before you tell me that the problem might be from my operator (I am with Free), I should note that other people I know are with this operator and they do not have this issue except, precisely, when they try to call me.

Do you know where the problem might come from? How can I resolve it?

    Hello,

With text, it is quite difficult to find a random failure... It doesn’t get found "like that"

We would need to see a map of your region... know where your provider's relay mast is located... The distance... The level of signal that reaches you..? it is likely to be too weak... With everything that entails...

-- You say "there is signal"... Which one..? 5G..4G ..3G .. wifi.. BlueTooth

Current telephony is often in 4G.. but this signal must remain well established long enough to allow this communication...
-- In addition, if you are in a region crowded by tourism, the relays become very congested or even SATURATED, while you must share the relay cells; if there is no more room, you must try again later...

If the relay is "impossible" at your place... the solution is to switch provider, to one that is closer to you on the towers... See the map "Cartoradio"

You say "there's signal"... Which one? 5G..4G ..3G .. wifi.. BlueTooth

When I enable mobile data, I’m on 5G but usually I can make a call without having to enable it.

Moreover, if you’re in a region overwhelmed by tourism, the cell towers become very crowded or even saturated, and you have to share the cells of the towers; if there’s no room, you have to try again later...

And does this also concern the people who are trying to reach me?
