Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro hotspot sharing issue

Hello,
I recently got a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, and when I try to share a connection with it, I don’t have Internet; the sharing keeps connecting and reconnecting in a loop.. It’s very frustrating because I have a weak Wi-Fi connection, so I’m trying to use my mobile network on my computer, but to no avail..

If you have any solutions, I’m interested.

Configuration: Android / Chrome 81.0.4044.117

    Hello,
    I have the same problem: unable to connect to the hotspot of my Redmi Note 8 Pro.

    On my wife's Redmi Note 8 Pro, the hotspot works, but only on a specific browser: Firefox, not Chrome.
    I’m interested in any ideas.

      Issue resolved by changing the APN settings in settings/sim card/apn/ choose IPv4 or IPv6 instead of IPv6 only.

      Same for my Redmi Note 8A, it stopped working, supposedly I've changed something. They ask me to enter the network connection key. But nothing is accepted.
