Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G disable ads?

Hello,

My partner has a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G Smartphone.

I disabled some services that block ads via the Store, but they keep coming back. I checked the settings, especially Google for ads, but the ads return as soon as she performs an action or when she wants to make a call. The ads seem to come from the Store. What other options should I remove?

    Good evening,

    To disable ads on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, go to "Settings" > "Passwords & Security" > "Authorization & Revocation" and disable System ads.

      Hello,

      The overlay on Xiaomi is HyperOS (3 for the latest Android 16 models) where there is no "Passwords and security" section in Settings.

      I have a Xiaomi 15T where these elements are the same depending on Android versions and HyperOS, and due to ads history, there are a few scattered features.

      Probably via Xiaomi HyperAI if you activate it, and it will then do what it’s paid for, “suggest” everything and the rest.

      But otherwise essentially in Security and privacy, Privacy settings.

      System ads are, as their name indicates, those of Android/HyperOS, for example system update ads or the "optimisation" status, not those of a particular app.

      You can find in Privacy-Ads notably the ability to disable app-suggested ads; of course this will not disable built-in ads inside a given app when you use it, and which is its business model.
