Every time I open Chrome, the New Tab page opens!
Is there a solution to prevent this?

Hello,
I had the same problem following last week's Microsoft update. After many searches to try to get my original settings back on Chrome, I went to the Google settings: the three little dots at the top right. Then restore the default settings. And I got my original Google page back. Give it a try.
