Hello. My Samsung A40, which I bought refurbished 2 years ago and had the battery replaced 6 months ago, occasionally does not ring, and this happens almost every day. I have to turn it off and on again for it to work again... Is it time to replace it? Thank you in advance.

Hello,
There's no need to change it right away. This kind of issue often comes from a software bug or an app that blocks notifications in the background.

First, try doing a system update, then restart in safe mode to see if the problem is caused by an app. If it continues, a complete reset often solves the issue.

If after that the bug returns, then yes, it could be related to the motherboard or the audio module, and in that case, it's better to consider a replacement.
