Instagram very slow on computer

Hello,

I use Instagram on my computer and it’s very slow. I’m not posting anything, I’m just looking at Instagram accounts. As soon as I open 2 Instagram tabs it takes a long time to load. It takes a long time to show the thumbnails when I scroll down a page. Often I have to refresh the page because nothing loads anymore. It makes my computer fan a lot. I think it has always been like this.

I have ADSL, I know how to wait for a site to fully load but there’s only Instagram that does this.

Any idea how to fix this problem?

    Hello,

    Instagram is very data-hungry; just opening a tab already downloads 20 to 30 MB of data without doing anything, and scrolling a bit can almost double the amount of data to receive.

    It's enormous for a website, and I find it normal that it struggles with multiple tabs if you have ADSL.
