Hello,

I’ve changed my PC and I’m trying to reinstall my Plustek OpticFilm 8200i Ai slide scanner.

I can find the Plustek download site, but when I try to download I get a warning:
We have prevented you from accessing potentially malicious website.
d3b63i9tvm4mo6.cloudfront.net/downloads/english/driver/OpticFilm%208200i_12L_V6.1.0.3.exe

      Yes, and I have the same message.
      I just spent a good moment with an online technician and he doesn't understand it either. He suspects a problem with my Avast antivirus, but even with it disabled the problem remains.

        I tested 4 of them and the same problem with all 4: DuckDuckGo, Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.

      In fact it all started with that CD that I couldn't find anymore.

      I ended up searching the whole house, including places where it shouldn't have been, and I found it.

      My initial problem is solved but the download bug isn’t.

After downloading, via the link provided in @kaneagle's reply https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/6ba4afd26b41d287eb3ad5d3be32192b140f8d980caa0841b21ac5e2112925bc Two detections, so a false positive or not on www.virustotal.com! Afterwards, disabling Avast or not is known to cause problems; the best would be to use Microsoft’s antivirus. https://www.avast.com/fr-fr/uninstall-utility For information, normally the Microsoft antivirus should take over automatically after Avast is uninstalled. For my part, the download goes smoothly via the Firefox browser! Obviously, you’re using Google Chrome.

      As written above I tested 4 browsers, in the order mentioned.

      The issue is resolved since I finally found the CD after a few hours of searching.

      Problem with downloading probably not.
