Samsung Wave won't start

Hello,
I have already written a message, but I think no one has seen it. Anyway, my problem is that my Wave won't turn on since the update after installing Kies!!!! If you have a solution, I've tried another SIM card to see if that was the problem, but no. Please help me.

Hello,

You need to turn off your phone by removing the battery.
Then, with a bit of finger exercise :) put it back in while pressing the volume down, lock, and hang up buttons at the same time.
This manipulation is not easy...

Hold it down until you see:

------------DOWNLOAD MODE------------
-----------------------------------------

Then connect it to your PC, launch Kies, which will offer you software recovery.

PS: Laptop should be charged.

Good evening,
I have a Samsung Wave that I've had for 5 months now, and for the past week, it won't turn on. It shows "Samsung Wave - bada" and then it shuts down and restarts endlessly :'( if someone could help me ^^

I did as you said to reset it... without success.. When I turn it off and restart it, it shows like it's charging then it turns off. I'm fed up with this phone!! I should never have bought it. At first, it was great, no complaints, but after 3 weeks... it bugs and all, ugh, it's so annoying.
Finally.. It agrees to turn on if I leave it alone for at least 10 minutes. What a waste of time.

I did a hard reset and now it turns on, displaying the Samsung Wave 2 logo and the SFR logo, continuously restarting without stopping.

It's the same, it won't start and when I charge it, the battery logo lights up and turns off indefinitely, but a bit before it started freezing, it told me I was connecting to the PC even though nothing was plugged in... I would like to perform a reset BUT for that I need to manage to turn it on lol...
Can someone help me?

I have the same problem as you.
Samsung told me to drop it off for service at Corbeil Essonne at 43 rue de PARIS, they know the issue. Kies can't do anything for the BADA firmware.

Hi, I have the same problem, my Wave won't turn on; I bought it in January, the customer service already sent me a new one, and two weeks later, I have the same issue.
I'm going to go to the store to try to get it replaced.

It went off while I was receiving a call. I charged it thinking it was out of battery. The charging battery icon appeared on the screen. Once charged, I read that I should unplug the charger. The phone won't turn on anymore, even when I plug the charger back in. I have to go to the store. If these phones have this defect, I'm going to change it, especially since I'm disappointed for several reasons.

Restart it with the battery charger (with several attempts) and in the settings, you need to reset and check everything. After that, it will restart, and there you go!
For me, it worked so far!

I wanted to install a version of Bada 2.0 on my phone, and since then it has been buggy; I can't turn it on (when I turn it on, it gets stuck on "Samsung Wave GT-S8530"). I can't do anything, even when I plug it in, and when I go into "download mode" and use Samsung Kies, it says "connecting" for a very long time, and I can't connect it. Now, you take your phone, turn everything off, and the screen needs to stay black. You press the hang up, volume down, and lock button at the same time, and it will enter download mode.

I think I have an answer for now.
I had the same problem, so I plugged it in to charge, and when it was charging, I tried to turn it on. It worked, and I was able to remove the theme.
But I still don't have any solutions without charging.

Freddy, I flashed my wave! It takes a day to download all the software and honestly, now it restarts and works perfectly!! ;) Do the same.

Hello everyone!
I had the same problem last night with my Samsung Wave III....
Apparently, the issue is still not resolved.

I tried the manipulation suggested by vaanbasch without success; my phone remains stuck on "downloading."

However, I haven't tried the idea of flashing my phone; I'm afraid it might change something in its functions.

Please help me; I'm on the verge of throwing my phone against the wall in the hope that it will work!

Hello, I just had the same problem and I have a pretty drastic solution but it works. You need to flash your phone. Then you can restore a backup of your phone via Samsung Apps (I couldn't reinstall the original version) I lost some data in the process but I managed to get the phone book working again which wasn't displaying anything before...

Hello,
since yesterday I can't turn on my Wave II and it keeps showing the same thing as you with "Samsung Mobile" and then it shuts off again infinitely. I tried to turn it on while charging, but that doesn't work for me, and I tried with Kies, but it doesn't detect the mobile... a little irony, this morning my alarm clock turned on, so I think my phone is trying to tease me, it's not possible ;)...

If you have any suggestions, I'm interested...
Little info: I switched to Bada 2.0 two weeks ago now, and so far I've had no problems; I hope it's not because of that.

Hello everyone...
I solved the problem a long time ago and now everything works apparently very well... I managed to reflash it and install a new firmware that is great and without any bugs for those who haven't received the update on Kies (like I did ^^).... you go to the fosamobi website, it's a good firmware there...
