Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+: not recognized by PC

Hello everyone,
I am desperately looking for a solution to my problem:
I recently purchased a Samsung tablet (A9+) and I want to transfer some files to it from my PC.
The USB cable is new and works perfectly; my tablet charges when it is connected to the computer, but its name does not appear on the PC, making it impossible to transfer files.
I have already tried several manipulations:
- tested with a second USB cable: same problem,
- I activated the developer option on my tablet and enabled USB debugging: the issue persists.
- I tested with a second computer: same problem.
- I updated the USB drivers on my PC and nothing changed either.
In fact, I don't understand why my tablet doesn't give me the option to charge or transfer data, I've had a similar issue with an old phone, it's very frustrating!
Every time I connect it to a USB port, no matter which one, it automatically starts charging and doesn't give me the option to transfer my data. Even when I swipe on the tablet's screen to check, it shows "charging" and offers no other options.
Well, at worst, I can use my Google Drive since that seems to work ^^' but since I like to understand and persist, I would really like to know if someone has a solution that I haven't thought of!
Thank you very much and have a great day!
