How to choose a smartwatch for kids?
Winux -
Hello everyone,
I'm currently in the process of thinking about how to choose a smartwatch for an 8-year-old. I've seen that there are plenty of models available, but I'm not sure what to prioritize between safety, battery life, location tracking, ease of use, etc.
I want to avoid "gadget" watches or those with non-existent customer service in case of issues. If any parents have already taken the plunge, I’d love to hear your feedback!
On my side, I'm looking at options like this one for example: https://infinitewatch.com/products/infinite-ikids-montre-connectee-enfant
I don't know the brand very well yet, but it seems reliable and the website is in French, which reassures me a lot...
Thanks for your advice ????

Hello,
Isn't it a bit too early for him? ????
He needs a smartphone, and at that age it's not really recommended.
As someone who keeps up with tech news, I see no interest aside from sports and monitoring his health.
Smartwatches lose value quickly because there are always new models, and they tend to be fragile; personally, I have a Citizen watch made of titanium and sapphire glass, it costs about the same, lasts forever, and will never go out of style.
