Hello, here is my hardware:

  • Asus B85M-E motherboard with Asus UEFI Bios (with simplified EZ Mode interface) equipped with a 20-pin header labeled TPM (20-1 for TPM)
  • Intel Core i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10 GHz 4 cores
  • 8 GB of DDR3 RAM

Be aware that I do not understand everything I have written here.

  • I would like to know if I install a TPM module, where there are free pins, can I upgrade to Windows 11?
  • If so, is the TPM module standard or specific to my motherboard (where can I find its references)?
  • If so, I would need to know the procedure to configure this module and ABOVE ALL if you direct me to a website, I would like it to be IN FRENCH.

Thank you, and I hope the heat is not too overwhelming for you.

Marc

Good evening,

Unfortunately not, even with PTT enabled (TPM integrated with Intel motherboards), the hardware is not compatible; you have a fourth generation Intel platform, and for Windows 11 you need at least an eighth generation.

However, nothing prevents you from installing Windows 11 in compatibility mode using the registry method or by using Rufus for a bootable USB drive.

Hello

In addition:

  • If so, is the TPM module standard or specific to my motherboard (where can I find its references?)?

Specific to each motherboard manufacturer, and most of the time, they are completely unavailable; those on Aliexpress or Temu do not work.
