Hello, I completely replaced the casing of an Acer Aspire E51-533 because it was damaged everywhere, and I did a clean installation of Windows 11 24h2. However, before that, it was still usable and the Wi-Fi was working (and it was running Windows 10 21h1). Since I changed the casing and installed Windows 11, I can no longer activate the Wi-Fi; it remains disabled. I've tried everything: installing drivers, changing the Wi-Fi card, using the Fn + F3 key combination... basically, I don't know what else to do. I don't know if this could influence the problem, but I also changed the screen, keyboard, and touchpad.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

This is an Acer PC that originally belongs to a manufacturer.

You should check for driver updates, etc., especially the Wifi one from Acer, and see what it offers depending on the exact model of the PC.

    Hello,

Are you sure that your PC, originally running Windows 10 (21H1), also works with Windows 11?

I managed to solve the problem in quite a strange way. I tested the PC with a Linux live USB to see if it was indeed a software issue, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly with that live USB. I never understood why, but right after this test, I restarted under Windows and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly (even though I didn't do anything in between). In any case, the problem is solved, that's the main thing. To answer your question, it is not compatible with Windows 11. During the installer, I pressed shift+f10 to access regedit to set up bypasses in LabConfig.
