Good evening.
It has been a week now since my battery no longer charges to 100. This week it has charged up to a maximum of 97%, and today its maximum is at 95%, which worries me greatly. I have tried using a cleaner and Avast antivirus, which found nothing unusual...
I have my HP Pavilion g7-2140sf since 10/20/2012, and it's the first time it does this to me. Knowing that I wait for my PC to discharge as much as possible before charging the battery, which is in "recommended by HP" mode.
Does anyone have an idea why my battery no longer charges to 100? What can I do to make my battery charge to 100 again?
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.20
Please, thank you. Have a good evening.

Hello,
First of all, don't panic! You should know that when you're using your laptop, you shouldn't plug in both the battery and the power supply at the same time. For long uses (more than an hour), remove the battery and use only the power supply.
In your case, I think your battery shows all the symptoms of a battery that is no longer in very good condition because the above conditions have not necessarily been respected.
A battery like yours costs €20-25.
