My Samsung S7 won't turn on anymore.

Hello,

I'm reaching out because my Samsung S7 won't turn on anymore. It was charging when suddenly the screen went black and the red charging light stayed on. I can’t charge it or turn it on. I waited several hours like that, the red light remained on, sometimes the phone displayed the "Samsung" logo which disappeared after a few minutes. Then, after several hours, the red light turned off. I bought a new cable, even a wireless charger, but the phone won’t turn back on or charge. I tried the "power button + volume + home button" combination but it doesn't do anything. Does anyone have an idea of what’s going on? Is it the battery or the motherboard that’s dead? Will I be able to recover my data? Thank you.

    Hello,

It’s difficult to determine the exact nature of the issue remotely; the causes are numerous. If the hard reset doesn’t work, you will either need to have it repaired or consider getting a new phone.
Is it still under warranty or not (I imagine it’s not…)?

      Thank you for your response!

It is no longer under warranty, and I already have a new phone. I just want to turn it on one last time to recover my data.

In that case, it must be repaired so that it can start up again.

Otherwise, there are also companies specialized in data recovery, but this method is very expensive.

Alright, I'll go get it fixed, I hope it's nothing serious...

I didn't know such businesses existed! Do you have any reliable ones to recommend? Thanks!
