Hello,

I found these two computers and would like your opinion on these two models please:

ASUS PC https://www.ldlc.pro/fiche/PB00592153.html

MSI PC https://www.ldlc.pro/fiche/PB00584661.html

I have heard very negative opinions about MSI in the past. Is that still the case? My usage will involve occasionally resource-heavy software as I work in Web Marketing.

Thank you in advance,

Hello,

The MSI comes with a dedicated graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with 8 GB of memory. In contrast, the Asus does not have a dedicated graphics card; it has an integrated graphics card in the processor (Intel® UHD Graphics 770). This is what accounts for the price difference. If you're just doing image editing and occasional basic video editing, the Asus should suffice. However, if you often do advanced video editing, I recommend opting for the MSI or looking for another ASUS model with a dedicated graphics card. To give you another idea, the GeForce RTX 4060 is about 7 times more powerful than the Intel® UHD Graphics 770. The MSI also has a larger case with more free slots, making it more suitable if you want to add or modify components in the future, although given the power of the configuration, you should be fine for 5 to 10 years (adding internal storage, changing the graphics card, etc.).
Now I can't advise you on which brand to choose in terms of durability. Both are very good, well-known brands, so there shouldn't be any significant differences. I own an Asus PC and an MSI PC, and I haven't had any particular issues with either, but my experience is not significant in this area.

Hello,

The problem is that you want a comparison between 2 PCs that have nothing in common. The ASUS PC is a mini desktop PC without a dedicated GPU, while the MSI PC is housed in a mid-tower case, apparently, with a more recent generation CPU (13th vs. 12th generation), and it has a good quality dedicated GPU.
