Hello,
I have a TOSHIBA EASY MEDIA PC.
I can no longer use the touchpad.
It works with an external mouse.
Does anyone have any idea how to reactivate the touchpad?
Thanks,
Best regards,
Chantal

The first thing you need to check is whether the touchpad is disabled. Most laptops have a feature that allows you to disable the touchpad. You can usually enable or disable the touchpad by pressing certain keys on the keyboard. For a Toshiba, try pressing the FN + F9 keys.
If that doesn't work, you might want to try updating the touchpad drivers. To do this, go to the official Toshiba website, find the support section, and download the drivers for your laptop model. Once downloaded, install these drivers and restart the computer.
If the issue persists, it could be a hardware problem, and you should consider having your computer checked by a professional.
