PUBG : Game Freezes for No Reason

Hello,

Here is what I have in terms of hardware:

- Windows 10 Professional Edition 64-bit
- ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. AMD PRIME B450M-A Rev X.0x
- AMD RYZEN 7 1700X Eight-Core Processor 3.40 GHz 95W DirectX 12
- 32GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM (DDR4) (4* 8GB)
- AMD Radeon RX 590 GAMING (8GB).

I want to emphasize that the bug related to the game freezing has been present since I played it for the first time. It is not related to an update of my GPU and/or Windows update. Also, the entire game configuration is set to minimum, Vsync is disabled (even when enabled, the game freezes) and all drivers are up to date.

I have already verified all game files via EpicGames, uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times, following the instructions here https://support.pubg.com/hc/en/articles/900002196723-GUIDE-G%C3%89N%C3%89RAL-SUR-LA-PERFORMANCE-ET-LES-PLANTAGES, but the problem persists.

So, I installed PUBG for the first time via EpicGames. I was able to complete the training session without any issues. However, as soon as I do a training match against bots or when I play with a friend, the game freezes randomly (after 5, 10, or 15 minutes of gameplay), and I can do nothing but restart my computer.

After restarting, and randomly, I get an error message that appears as soon as I get to the game's main menu (see attached). To make this message disappear, I have to restart PUBG 2 or 3 times.

Even after installing PUBG on Steam, the issue remains unchanged. The same happens when I run Steam and/or PUBG as an administrator. I have obviously contacted PUBG support, but my request was immediately marked as "resolved," while receiving an automated email redirecting me to the previously shared support link.

I also tested the link below but with no success:
https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/pubg-freezing/#fix4

I noticed that the "XMP" or "DOCP" option in the BIOS might prevent the game from functioning correctly, but it is not enabled by default, and again, no success.

I am also starting to wonder if the issue might be hardware-related, which would be very surprising..

I hope I have been precise enough and provided as much information as possible about my issue, and I'm sorry for the lengthy message!

Thank you very much in advance for your responses :)!

    Mini up :(

I have also gone through the various tests below, still without success:

    - Downgrading the drivers to previous versions before installing the game
    - Disconnecting *unnecessary* USB devices
    - Setting the Windows power option to "High performance"
    - Checking the computer components with HWMonitor
    - Only Windows Defender is used as antivirus
    - Hard drive checked with CrystalDiskInfo

    Thank you!

    Hello

In the games section of the forum, a software/hardware question is unlikely to get an answer. I'm moving your question to the hardware section.

    Install UserDiag − Home

Run a long diagnostic and paste the link to the result here.

    Hello,

@flo88 StatusContributor Thank you for your response. Since I'm experiencing the issue only while playing PUBG, I thought I was in the right place by posting my topic in the game section.
    Sorry for the oversight :/

As requested, below is the link to the UserDiag results:

    Thanks in advance :) !

Userdiag shows nothing that specifically explains your problem,

however I note a concern on the side that could have consequences for your PC: your C: drive seems to be failing, you mentioned having done a CrystalDiskInfo test but it should have detected something because this drive could give out any day now.

Furthermore, you apparently have Windows on this drive, which is a regular HDD, while you also have a good NVMe SSD; it's a shame that W10 isn't installed on it, you would gain tremendously in terms of usability.

That was a side note, which I think has no relation to the crashing game.
