The graphics card does not seem to be powered.

Hello,

I have a problem with a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 GAMING OC 8G that I recently acquired. When I install it and power on the computer, nothing happens. The graphics card does not light up unlike all the other components. It is supposed to have an RGB light indicator, but it remains off and I don't understand why. However, my other graphics card (a 1060) has no issues once installed in the slot.

The only flaw I found is that my motherboard (ROG Strix B450-F Gaming) has a PCIe 3.0 and my graphics card has a PCIe 4.0, however I was told that it has little impact (especially on performance). As for my power supply (Be Quiet! Pure Power 12M at 750W), I have checked that I have the correct connections (PCIe) and that I am indeed using the 8-pin. My graphics card does not accept PCIe Express 5.0 so I only have the classic PCIe as an option. I don't understand why it refuses to turn on.

Thanks in advance!

Hello

Either you are not inserting the card properly into the slot, or you have the wrong connector (unlikely with the keying), or the card has an issue, and in that case, a return for warranty service.
