Hello, after I bought it I accidentally dropped my Cocopa external DVD drive, and it won't turn on when I plug it into my computer. Can someone help me?

    Hello,

It is practically impossible to answer your question... since following a fall it is certainly a material problem that will need to be assessed upon disassembly by a customer service... (Request a quote...)

    Hello

    after buying it

The question of the warranty arises just after a purchase.

Very exceptionally, in some cases there is also a breakage insurance, even if it’s very rare.

It's always different contracts, impossible to know and generalize.

      Hello,

Unless you have taken out specific insurance... a fall is never guaranteed...

        Hello

        Absolutely.

There are currently online sales sites that offer it, always with a paid option available on certain items.

A little while ago, I saw some high-end international payment credit cards offered by banks with a 6-month breakage guarantee for the equipment purchased with them.

Yes, and one must also read (all...) the "fine print" at the bottom of the contract carefully... because it's not uncommon for there to be exclusions!.......

        Hello,

It does indeed seem very unlikely.

Specific insurances only cover types of items that would be explicitly excluded from home insurance contracts.

Similarly (see the controversies surrounding mobile phone insurance), accidental damage is defined as an accident that is sudden, unpredictable, and external: you are almost never insured against yourself (your own clumsiness).

Moreover, even if such a contract were applicable, it is most often accompanied by a deductible: given the very modest value of the device, we are going to find ourselves in a deadlock (just as with a repair quote).
