Hello, I ordered a package on Aliexpress on 11/08/23, and the package hasn’t moved since 11/09/23:

Well, no delays at any customs. and there will inevitably be another one, at least in the destination country.
The seller tells me to be patient... So that's the important information. He's not surprised, he’s used to it. It goes faster or slower, there are no rules.
-If we scroll a bit higher on the page, we notice:
That there are several delivery services under the same name, that the average transit times vary greatly, the prices too, up to +100 different destinations from this location. 16 to 35 days for one, except in exceptional cases. Sometimes 7 days for "key points," except in exceptional cases for the other.
We also know that airports often manage the flow of goods in case of air transport, meaning there are several routes to cover 8000 km, depending on the flight departures and the space available in the holds. (we don’t know if the oversize will have an impact or not).
That tracking messages might be disrupted later by linguistic problems, sometimes.
Furthermore, we know that linguistic issues are found with other importers over 8000 km:
see the "shein packages at the Paris airport on CCM" (another customs point by the way), no one understands the tracking messages anymore. See a preview:

Eventually discovered La Poste, which was also waiting for its customers' packages.

Notwithstanding the fact that the platform in question is at best documented to deliver articles of mediocre quality and at worst for some sellers to not deliver at all, even if we were in the first case, I assume that delivery depends on the congestion at the departure platform and in the meantime, they try to fit the desired item into a shipment by air or container from the other side of the world at the lowest cost.
As for me, I have a parcel that has been stuck coming from a French manufacturer, which is supposed to be quite reliable, for 15 days now; it's not a big deal, I'm not making a fuss about it, and I don't see why I should make a fuss over a parcel ordered from China just 10 days ago.
