Image disappearing in PDF export from a Word folder

Hello,

I created a 40-page folder in Word, in which I imported PDF documents (pay slips), but when I export the folder to PDF, the pages containing the pay slips do not display fully; the borders and background of the slip are there, but not the text or the pay lines. The same goes for a page containing a PDF of a tax notice. However, other PDF documents remain intact..

Does anyone have an idea of what might have happened?

Thank you

Hello,

I have never tried to do this for multiple documents (assuming that the final document size does not prevent it from being emailed to a particular service).

This is not strictly about importing an image but rather about trying to convert it in Word; I am not sure if Word can do this for multiple documents at once.

If we need to create a document with all the PDFs and a cover text, it seems simpler to create the latter in Word and then use Microsoft Print to PDF, and then merge everything into a PDF online or via PDFCreator.

If we want to go through Word, why not take a screenshot or convert each PDF page into a jpg if the PDF documents are only one page each, and then insert these images into the Word document? Also, if each PDF has multiple pages, PDFCreator or an equivalent should allow it to be converted into as many jpgs.

Thank you for your reply,

This is a file that also includes word processing pages and a table of contents to navigate through the file; I found it convenient to use Word.
What’s strange is that there are other PDF documents that export intact from my file.

I tried screenshots but the quality is very diminished..

I will attempt your solutions. Thank you very much.
