Content that disappears from Word when saving as PDF

Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to you because despite all my research, I haven't found a solution.
I created a Word document. Saved it as a template. It has a header and a footer (an embedded image in each).
When I reopen the template (in template format) or a document (in document format), I write a few lines and then save it as a PDF.
The header and footer consistently disappear in the generated PDF document.
I've made plenty of attempts, but nothing works.
So, I wanted to check something: I converted these documents (template and document) using an online document converter. And there, surprise: no issues! The header and footer are indeed present....
I've tried a lot of solutions, but I can't find my mistake...
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? And if so, what steps need to be taken?
Thank you very much for your help

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 80.0.3987.106

Hello, have you tried printing it to a PDF file instead of saving it as a PDF?

Good evening Yg_be: Yes, I tried in two ways: saving as Acrobat format, etc... and saving as when I go to "save as" and select PDF in the lower tab (Word, etc...). Nothing works...

My suggestion was to print (not to save as), and to choose a printer "Print to PDF file."
      What version of Windows?
