How to use your Logitech mouse on two computers?

Hello,

I am currently using the M590 mouse with the dongle plugged into my ASUS computer.

If I want to use my mouse on my Toshiba computer, I take the dongle and plug it into the USB port of the Toshiba.

On both of my computers, the Bluetooth function is activated. (But if this is supposed to mean that the dongle is no longer necessary in the USB port, currently the mouse does not work without the dongle)

Whether it's Toshiba or my ASUS, the mouse is set to 1 to function.

I would like to be able to use the mouse in "2" mode on my Toshiba.

And by default, always use my ASUS in "1".

The essentials:

The mouse works on each computer with the dongle.

The Logitech Options app is installed on both computers.

The Bluetooth mode is apparently activated.

Once I get past the switch from mode 1 to mode 2 for the mouse,

I would like to use the Flow function.

The dongle is currently shared between the M590 mouse and the K230 keyboard.

Is this a problem?

If you have any tips to resolve this situation,

I am all ears.

Thank you ^^

Well, after a few hours ...

With this video in English of less than 1 minute!

I was able to use my M590 mouse with a single dongle.

I did the "pairing" maneuver by putting the dongle on my TOSHIBA in Bluetooth and other devices, I uninstalled and did the installation process again, pressing the 2 on the mouse.

Without really understanding, I told it to pair this computer to the number 2 of the mouse.

So currently, by putting my dongle back on my ASUS,

it still works in mode 1 and if I press 2, the pointer moves well on my TOSHIBA.

If I put the dongle in no USB port?

The mouse in position 2 works on my TOSHIBA, and if I put the dongle back on my Toshiba, the pointer works both in position 1 and 2, and therefore no pointer for the ASUS.

As a result, I leave the dongle on the ASUS that has mode 1, and I can switch to 2 on the TOSHIBA with or without the dongle.

I will test the adventure of flow .. maybe..

Hello,

The mouse does not use Bluetooth to communicate with the computer, but to communicate with the dongle.

The principle of Logitech's Unifying receiver is that you need a dongle for each PC. The 1/2 switch is a switch between the 2 dongles.

Hello Jee Pee,

Thank you for this initial lead. :)

I have the 'Logi Unifying Receiver' dongle from the M590. It no longer works with the mouse since it shares with another Logi Unifying receiver which is for the K230 keyboard.

How do I pair a second dongle/receiver to a mouse that already has a receiver? If it's necessary to use the function: switch to 1/2 and the bonus switch to flow.

Thank you.

Hello

For me, the solution lies in acquiring a second unifying dongle.

https://www.logitech.com/fr-fr/products/mice/unifying-receiver-usb.910-005236.html

For your information, Logitech dongles operate on 2.4GHz WiFi.

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it’s not there...

When I paired the M590 mouse and the K230 keyboard to the dongle that was originally with the keyboard.

The mouse dongle became inactive...

I haven't currently found any tutorials on pairing a mouse for use on two computers, so I'm at a standstill.

Here we go into a Ô sadness...Ô despair ... dear Baladur xD
