Logitech wireless mouse, new battery, no longer charges

Hello,

I recently found my wireless mouse. I wanted to use it, but it didn't work. Thinking it was out of battery, I placed it on its dock, but nothing happened. I thought the battery was dead, so I purchased a new battery. Now the mouse works very well; however, when I place it on the dock, the light (green or red, I can't remember) on the mouse still doesn't turn on. To me, the mouse is therefore not charging. I have no idea where the issue might be... It's almost brand new, and it bothers me to buy a new one when it works perfectly well....

I hope someone here has a solution... Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 47.0

    Hello...

In principle, when it's red, it's charging; when it's green, it's charged...
That said, have you checked the contacts on the mouse side as well as the base side...?
    Regards,
    See you later
PS: you did put in batteries, not cells, right?!

I think I have a problem with the cable and the power plug. I'm going to buy another one and see...

And yes, they are batteries ^^ I bought the same ones as the original.
