Hello *****

Following the blockage of the cartridge alignment page that has been resolved, I could no longer scan any documents on my printer: I deleted the drivers provided with my old CD but now nothing works, neither the printer nor the scanner: I don't want to go on direct wifi so I connected via wifi and downloaded the pack I found on YouTube without using smart but still nothing: the printer shows up but the driver is unavailable ;;;; I'm fed up with HP !!!! It was working so well: everything in life is like that, I'm tired ;;;

Thank you ******

Hello and thank you: I checked these links, the last link for the basic pack no longer works as it is, nor does the second one; I didn’t try the first one that is recommended because to print you necessarily have to go through HP Smart, which is really bad compared to what I had before: direct printing and scanning to choice ... How can I avoid HP Smart?

Thanks again!

Hello,

Download and install --> Revo Uninstaller
Run it as administrator
Uninstall everything related to HP printer products
Carefully follow the tutorial to uninstall everything properly including leftover folders and keys.
For the residue scan, check --> advanced mode
Restart the PC.

Download this driver --> ENVY 5530
Disconnect the USB cable from the PC
Turn on the printer
Start the driver setup
Connect the cable to the PC as soon as prompted.

I did everything correctly, but when I connect the USB cable of the printer, it tells me that the cable is not connected... Should I activate the wireless function on my printer instead? Thank you for your response.

Thank you! When I select the products from my HP printer, should I check moderate or advanced before starting the scan? Thank you for your response.

Should I disconnect my printer from the wifi network?

And that's where the problem lies, because every time it says: check the wiring and try again.

Should I enable the wireless connection instead? Thank you for your help.

Should the wireless connection be activated instead

Try another USB port or try the Wi-Fi function and see what it gives.

I changed the cable and also the port but nothing works....

The HP Smart icon reappears when I restart the PC in the programs....

I'm going to try the Wi-Fi but first I will start the whole procedure over again... Never surrender!

Unfortunately, the procedure did not work; only the icon for my printer appears, but it's impossible to activate the basic functions of my printer and scanner.

I have to go through the laptop that is networked with my printer, and for which it worked: who knows why???

Moreover, the software can only be downloaded via Firefox because Google Chrome gives an error message.

Thanks again and have a good day: goodbye HP for me, I’m buying another brand because it’s a work tool for me, so too much time wasted in teleworking!

 hp smart reappears on restart

With Revo Uninstaller, did you properly uninstall all HP printer products?

Hello,

Yes, I did it before reinstalling each time... However, the HP Smart icon remains after each uninstallation;

One surprising thing is that when you make the USB connection, you are asked if you have already installed the Wi-Fi printer and the message disappears immediately.

Last suggestion:

Redo the procedure with revo-uninstaller
Check the tutorial by bazfile --> https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-37633471-la-reserve-de-clippings-de-bazfile#p37633483

Don't forget to uninstall all HP products

After that, right-click on the driver --> Full_Webpack-116-Full_Webpack.exe
Run as administrator and confirm

Thank you for this last suggestion: the Bazfile page is apparently no longer available. Otherwise, I'm trying the procedure for the c ......................th time.

Hello.

Here is the bazfile tutorial:

Uninstall with Revo Uninstaller in advanced scan mode.

Revo Uninstaller tutorial to read carefully.

Accept the uninstallation of the program you wish to uninstall, and if there is an error message stating that the uninstallation is impossible, close the error message and continue the procedure.

Check "Advanced scan" and then click "Scan".

Click on "Select all" then on "Delete", if a second list appears, do the same, then once everything is deleted, click on "Finish". A restart might be required.

Yes, thanks for the tutorial, but I really did everything like that, and by the way, nothing appears when I go back to the uninstaller. I also right-clicked on administrator, but nothing works; it searches and then tells me that I can't connect my printer.

Hello everyone .....

My first and last cartridge after Kaneagle’s, whom I greet in passing if this doesn't resolve the problem.

See ► This link where the installation was reportedly successful according to the requester at the very end of the post...

Follow the entire procedure from A to Z.

For your information, the last link provided is apparently no longer available at HP, and it is none other than ► This one.

Cheers

See you+

Edit: In hindsight, I don't really think the driver built into Windows 10 matches the exact model of your printer... but you can always give it a try. If it doesn't work, you can reinstall your printer via the HP website (Full software and drivers for HP ENVY 5530 all-in-one printers) after thoroughly cleaning as indicated in the link... which I hope will finally help you reinstall this printer.

Best regards

Thank you: I just opened regedit and under the converteruserdevmod tab, I have a bunch of things starting with hp: should I delete them?

I also have quite a few under the printers tab...

You have to be very, very careful with the registry and not delete just anything, otherwise the PC will crash…

Is your PC a HP brand?

A+
