It's simple, go to the HP PACKARD website, search for Photosmart C3180, and download it. I just did it for mine.

I bought a PC recently, I'm on Windows Vista, my HP Photosmart C1300 worked well with XP.

I went to download the HP_Vista-MPF C3180 application on the HP Packard site, as Coco recommended.

Well, the printer is recognized and works, but the scan doesn't work, the software was much better.

Can I download the installation CD?

Thank you for your help, my original CD is also marked c3100, but when I look at the top of my printer it says hp photosmart hp3180, it is true that it's really weird but anyway

you did very well it's "automatic installation"

Don't forget not to plug in the scanner during the software installation.

You will plug it in later > port (usb) and turn it on last > outlet (220V). one after the other.

Yes, it's normal, I often get the task of installing this control for other applications as well.

Right-click and install the ActiveX control from the bar at the top of your window (long yellow bar)

I'm a bit late, I wasn't on my PC these last few days, I think you managed the installation.
