VHS tape playback with MINI AV2HDMI

Hello,

Following the purchase of the MINI AV2HDMI converter, I tried the connection in the attached photo, but I see nothing on my PC. What did I forget?

    Hello,

    An AV to HDMI converter could be useful to connect the camcorder to the TV.

    On a PC, the HDMI port is an output, not an input, so this converter is not suitable.

    What exactly do you want to do? And which devices are you connecting? PC, camcorder, VCR

      Initially, I wanted to play the tapes with a recorder on my TV via HDMI to check the condition of the tapes, but that doesn't work. I also connected my camcorder, but that didn't work either. Then I need to find a converter to capture them on my PC and save them to the hard drive, but I can't find much on Windows 10 64-bit.

    Hello, I am responding to the last sentence; to convert an analog signal to a digital signal, a box is needed. Several of us on the forum use the Dazzle, which has updated online help and comes complete with editing software.

      Hello, I bought it and returned it because I tried it on Windows 10 on 3 different PCs, none of them recognize this DAZZLE DVD recorder, and when I put the Pinnacle installation DVD in, the PCs' drives reject it. Why doesn't my PC want to recognize it? Are there missing drivers?

      Hello Andy, no power supply, I've been using it for years, it’s my camcorders that broke down before the case. If there are installation issues, check with Corel's technical support, they respond quickly to messages.
