Family Link tablet, incorrect time cannot be changed

Hello,

My daughter saw her Samsung tablet change to Indonesian time, and the option to adjust the time in the settings is impossible: "Action not allowed."

I searched the settings on her tablet and what I could do from Family Link on my phone: I couldn't find anything to revert to the correct time zone.

She was awakened last night by her alarm (which she had set to go off at 6:30) that rang five hours early, which is the time difference with Indonesia West...

I looked for solutions on Google but found nothing.

How can I authorize the automatic time zone adjustment as an administrator?

How can I temporarily disable Family Link on this tablet?

Or any other leads...

I'm stuck!

    Hello

    I had the same problem as you.
    The solution I found was to launch the location search from the app on my phone. It geolocated the tablet and updated the time directly.

    Hello, were you able to find a solution to your problem because I find myself in the same situation. I just installed Family Link on my daughter's phone and the time displayed on the phone is not correct. The settings to change the time on her phone are blocked by Family Link, so I don't know how to address this. Were you able to find a solution? Thank you in advance for your response.

    Hello,

    Since I couldn't find the solution, I started everything over from scratch. I deleted my daughter's Gmail account linked to my account, and I disabled the Family Link app on my daughter's phone. As a result, I was able to change the time on my daughter's phone at that moment. When the phone was finally set to the correct time, I created a new Gmail address for my daughter linked to mine, and then I re-enabled Family Link on her phone. Now everything works and the phone is showing the correct time.
