Hello,

We are using a wifi network that the whole company relies on every day in the offices.

It has not been working for several days, with access denied indicating "encrypted registered network." The encryption now shows "WPA Personal" ...

The wifi signal is normal, and when we try via cable, it works intermittently ...

The manager of the company has no connection issues ...

The wifi sometimes comes back without encryption, and we can reconnect without any problem.

We suspect a deliberate blockage ...

    Hello,

    I think it would be better to ask this question to the network administrator (he is most certainly better equipped to know exactly what it's about...) of your company...

    Hello, thank you for your feedback.

    I read on another forum that this encryption change is recommended to block access to other devices when the administrator wishes to do so.

    The network administrator is actually the manager.

    The initial encryption was WPS, but since this problem, it is indicated as "WPA personal" during the blocking.

    I asked the question, and he said he didn't know or have the time to contact the provider...

    We just want to be clear if this is a voluntary block or not; it would finally make things clearer...

    WPS is not a form of encryption but a method for connecting to a Wi-Fi network.

    Thank you for your response. I saw this inscription on the box and I thought it replaced WPA which is written below "registered encrypted"...

    The network comes back on certain days....

    Could these blocks be intentional and pass as a failure? Thank you.

      Regarding what you said, it's not easy to discern, but this kind of breakdown is very rare, so I would lean more towards it being intentional.

    Thank you for your feedback, that's what I thought...

    The wifi network magically comes back during group training days.

    The RJ45 cable also works whenever it wants...

    Either nothing works anywhere or it's obviously intentional!

    We were all allowed to use the wifi, but I think that has changed and the manager doesn't want to discuss it...

    At least we'll know where we stand...
