RGB connectors on motherboard

Solved

Hello,

I built my first PC not long ago, but I can't connect the hub of my ARGB fans to my motherboard (https://www.gigabyte.com/fr/Motherboard/B660-GAMING-X-DDR4-rev-10).

I have two cables provided by my case that connect the fan hub to my motherboard. However, I don't know which one to plug into which port. Additional information, my motherboard is indeed compatible with addressable RGB.

I hope someone will be able to find a solution.

And I thank you in advance for your response.

Hello,

Do you have the reference for this Hub? Or for the case if it is sold with it?

The "E" cable should be able to connect directly to the VDG pins (V = +5v, D = Data, G = Ground), from the D_LED2 connector.

For the "F" cable, we would need a 3-pin to 4-pin adapter. Note that you have a second connector on the other side of the motherboard (D_LED1).

Regards.

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your response.

The case I have is a Thermaltake Level 20 MT ARGB and the hub is already attached to the case. The first solution you suggested by connecting cable "E" to connector D_LED2 works perfectly.

I sincerely thank you.

Best regards
