RGB or ARGB Pin Problem Motherboard B450-PLUS

Hello, first of all thank you for taking the time to read my post. I hope I'm not bothering you too much.

Here is my problem: I'm considering changing my PC case (switching from a Spec Omega to a Nzxt h510) and also purchasing Cooler Master "masterfan MF 120 HALO" fans to add some color to my machine. However, my issue lies with the RGB or ARGB connections on my motherboard.

I recently changed motherboards to an ASUS PRIME B450-PLUS. The motherboard manual indicates only one port: "RGB_HEADER" (marked above with a +12v/G/R/B). My question is whether this port would allow me to connect the ARGB of my 3 potential MF 120 fans? By any means, such as purchasing an ARGB hub that would connect all the fans to a single pin.
My second question concerns the (RGB_HEADER) on my motherboard; is it ARGB or RGB? I don't understand what the motherboard manual implies, and it's unclear to me.

My last question is about the difference between RGB and ARGB. If I understand correctly, ARGB allows for different colors on each fan, whereas RGB does not allow for that?

These are my current problems. Thank you in advance for your time.

Have a very good end of the day.

Furthermore, here are the various useful illustrations:

First of all, you will find below the famous "RGB HEADER" port from my motherboard:

Secondly, here is the kind of HUB I plan to buy; is it possible to connect the three-pin connector to the "RGB_HEADER" port on my motherboard?

Hello @Zakr0z,

You're not disturbing us, we're here for that ^^.

As for the difference between RGB and ARGB, ARGB corresponds to addressable RGB. This means that unlike RGB, each LED can be controlled individually (assigning a different color to each LED on a strip of 10 LEDs, for example).

The RGB_HEADER connector on the Asus PRIME B450-PLUS motherboard is compatible with the MasterFan MF120 Halo (+12V/G/R/B, "Asus Aura Sync").
Fans can usually be connected in series, so you don't need a hub. (Be careful with limitations on the connector)

An article on cowcotland that talks about RGB/ARGB: https://www.cowcotland.com/topic30779.html

Have a nice day :)

Thank you very much for your response, and of course for the time you dedicate to problems like mine.

Your comment clarifies a lot for me, however, the RGB_HEADER port of my motherboard is a 4 pin while the fan port seems to be a 3 pin, will there be any operational issue? Because once connected, there will be one pin that cannot be connected. Doesn't that pose a problem?

Here is a photo of the various outputs / connections of the MF120 fans:

And here is a photo of the RGB_HEADER port of my motherboard as shown below:

Have a nice day.

Oh, indeed.

In the Cooler Master documentation, it states that a RGB_HEADER connector (+12V/G/R/B) is compatible, but according to your photo and an article found on TechPowerUp, a ADD_HEADER connector (+5V/D/GND) is required...

According to the same article, if you purchased the pack of 3 fans MasterFan MF120 Halo, an RGB controller is included, which would solve the problem.

Otherwise, unless I'm mistaken, unfortunately you will need to buy a compatible RGB controller :/
