Lumix Panasonic: system error (focus)

Hello,

I own the "pocket" camera Lumix Panasonic. I received it just a month ago. This morning, when I turned it on, the screen stays black with the message "System Error (Focus)." The camera lens opens. When I try to turn it off, the screen goes off but the lens remains open.

Is there a miracle solution? I'm traveling for another two months and I would like to continue using it...

    This is an extremely complex and highly miniaturized system; the most reasonable thing to do is to assert the warranty.

    Otherwise, consider pushing the objective gently and moderately.

        Yes, an authorized Panasonic repairer, not a fraud.
        It is a product under warranty (2 years) as MPMP10 states, whom I salute.
        I strongly advise you to return it to where it was purchased for an exchange. Don't forget to provide the receipt.
