Good evening everyone,
My camera froze on the first day of my trip to Canada, and I can't unlock it. I have a message that says system error (MP). I took a few photos and then it froze, nothing works, the lens stays open, and I have to trick it into closing by switching it off and on again and taking out the battery while in capture mode. The screen is blurry, and in playback mode, it quickly displays one or two photos from the card, and the error message appears. Can you help me?
I am not a pro at photography.

Hello, I didn't get a personal response but that's okay. After reading various comments on this type of problem, I must admit I was surprised to find that after several attempts to drop the device on the mat without success and various recommended manipulations that also resulted in no solution, this morning I was frustrated and I decided to go all out. I gave this device a "good smack" that I was really starting to curse, and miracle, it's working—“I can't believe it” again... hopefully it lasts!!! Apparently, it prefers brutality to gentleness; it's surprising.
Thanks for the advice; I didn't think it would work, maybe it was luck...
