Hello, I'm reaching out because for the past few days, my mouse has decided that after a certain period of use, it no longer correctly scrolls with the wheel.
More specifically:
- Scrolling down makes the pages scroll up instead of down
- Scrolling up has either no effect or stutters between scrolling up and down
I have a Logitech MX Anywhere 2 Bluetooth mouse, purchased on November 28, 2021, so very recently. Here’s what I’ve tried:
- Using the mouse via Bluetooth or directly connected to the computer
- Disabling the mouse in Device Manager and re-enabling it
- Uninstalling the mouse in Device Manager and reinstalling it
- Resetting the mouse to factory settings using the provided software (Logitech Options)
- Restarting the computer
- Changing the USB port of the Bluetooth receiver
None of these solutions have been convincing, and the only way I’ve found to get my mouse to work properly again is to completely shut down the computer for at least twenty minutes (if I restart too quickly, the problem is still there). That's why I would be surprised if it were a hardware issue, but I don’t see where the problem could come from if it’s software-related.
This is very hindering because I need the wheel a lot to zoom or change the brush size since I do a lot of graphic work.
It's worth mentioning that this problem appears after about one to two hours of use, and I used another G-Lab mouse to compare, and the scroll works properly.
Here’s my setup (even though I doubt it’s useful here):
- Windows 10 Professional 19044.1645
- AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.60 GHz
- AMD Radeon RX 580
Thank you to anyone who could help!

Hi
If the equipment was purchased in France, it has a two-year warranty, so it is still under warranty: return to customer service.
