Wi-Fi network card disappeared

Hello,

First of all, I want to clarify that I'm terrible with computers.

I have an Acer Predator Helios 300, Windows 10 x64.

"Following frequent Wi-Fi disconnections with the symbol "no connection" and the disappearance of the "Wi-Fi" tab in "Network & Internet", I went into the Device Manager, my card was still showing (Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Wireless Network Adapter). It was not activated, so I tried several tutorials to activate it, but nothing ever worked.
Then after several reboots of the PC, the card was no longer showing, but by selecting "show hidden devices," it was there, but still disconnected.

I then had the bright idea to uninstall it after reading that doing so would automatically reinstall it after rebooting the PC, but no…

So now it's nowhere to be found, I started installing drivers, first from this site: https://support.lenovo.com/fr/en/downloads/ds105386
Nothing happened after the installation, unless there’s something I need to do afterwards?

Same thing, nothing happens, I don’t know what I need to do after the installation.

I have no more ideas except to take it to a technician.

    When trying to uninstall the Qualcomm Atheros installation client (second link), I received an error message at the end:

    but then the uninstallation was successful.
    A friend told me that it is fried...

    the model of your PC is not complete, for example --> Predator PH315-51

    please provide the complete model of your PC

    in the search bar, type WINVER and click Open

    give the version of W10 that is installed on your PC

    example:



    A friend tells me it has burned out...

    Hello,

    The logical reflex would have been to go to the ACER site, the one for your PC... it seems that there are several Predators..??

    Also, you should be able to connect via the RJ45 cable directly from your PC to the back of your BOX, and it is very likely that the connection will work... and you connect to the ACER site... they will do everything online.

    In short, on this site you will find the manuals for your PC and all the drivers dedicated to your hardware... under Windows 11

    This PC seems to be only on Windows 11..?? so everything is not yet perfectly working... especially the updates.

    Try these instructions first... and take a closer look at the exact model of your PC..

    Yes, I am on Ethernet, so I will check your link, thanks.

    By using "ipconfig" in the cmd, my friend tells me that it's very strange that it can't find it, that's why he thinks it's fried

    PS: there are only drivers for W10 on the manufacturer's site

    your PC is up to date with version 21H2 (19044)

    I went to your link, but what should I download? In the drivers, I downloaded "Wireless LAN driver" from Intel, I installed it but nothing happens or I don’t know how to use it (which is quite possible)
    And I also installed "Wireless LAN driver (NFA344A HAI)" from Atheros, that installed but then nothing happens? I can’t even see what was added.
    I said I was useless lol.

    it's the right driver

    your WiFi card is present in network adapters



    in search, type control panel and click Open

    on the page, click on --> network and internet

    on the page that opens, click on --> change adapter settings (in the left column)

    on the page that opens, check if WiFi is Enabled

    Well, after uninstalling all the drivers and everything out of frustration! Then rebooting, my card appeared as connected in the device manager! Then suddenly:

    Boom, that blue screen, the PC restarts, the card is only present in the hidden devices. I don’t dare do anything anymore, I can't take it anymore lol

    And no, it doesn't appear, there's only Ethernet (my screenshot doesn't show up)

    I think your WiFi card is down.

    I'm attaching a video to take apart your PC and change the WiFi card --> click here

    PS: in the video, at 3 minutes 45 the guy unscrews the WiFi card.

      You need to check before that the BOX is properly producing the Wifi AC signal...
